Applications

The slow-moving platform of the HALE UAV is an advantage for all local remote sensing applications. The platform can hover above an area for prolonged time, yielding almost continuous data acquisition. On the other hand, the long endurance of the HALE UAV also means that large areas can be covered (up to 150 000 km² in a 7 months flying season), so it is suited for regional applications as well.
